Medicator Install Kit

This kit allows easy bypass of unit when not in use.

Kit includes hard plumbed bypass valves, slip to slip fittings for ” water lines, two 3’ x ” hose assemblies, and one flushable cartridge type filter. Filter should be installed ahead of the unit to insure that no sediment is present to hinder medicator operation. We recommend using a check valve before and an anti-siphon valve after the kit, available from your local plumbing supply.

Heat Cable

Our heat cable has an output of 2 watts per foot. One cable will give good performance to about 20. Two cables installed in the same pipe will give protection to about 0. If two cables are required for your climate, install two cables, putting one on a Thermocube and operating the other manually. This prevents both cables from coming on at the first drop in temperature, thus saving electricity. This is the cable we used in our rabbitry and has been installed throughout the nation with good results. Operates on 110 volts. See diagrams on previous page for installation suggestions.
CAUTION: Heat cables can NOT be spliced or cut! Please read entire instruction sheet and wiring diagram sent with each cable.
